How can you forgo a visit to Sogliano al Rubicone undisputed homeland of the “Fornaggio di Fossa”? The “Formaggio di Fossa” is a cheese matured in special tuff ditches in the Roncofreddo territory, too. The real gourmets can not forgo the appointment with the “open ditches” and the relating fair in November.

From the “Quattro Passeri” you can’t miss to get to the close San Marino for a shopping day.

It is very nice to reach San Leo and visit the wonderful fortress and Cagliostro prison.

Once at Montebello Castle you can listen to the mysterious and enchanting legend of “Azzurrina” ‘s ghost and admire the city of Rimini in a fantastic glittering at sunset.

From the “Quattro Passeri” it is very easy to get to Rimini. In only 20 minutes by car you can reach one of the most active and modern International Exhibition Centres of Italy.

Nevertheless, after a day full in work or relax you will wish to come back to Santa Paola di Roncofreddo to the peace and serenity of the “Quattro Passeri” countryside. Here you can relax at the healthy swim in the pool then enjoy a typical dinner in one of the several restaurants, trattorias and agritouristhouses of the valley.

You can’t miss to visit the close Malatestian Cesena with its ancient Library, the Racecourse, the Bonci Theatre; the Byzantine Ravenna with its Mosaics, Dante Alighieri’s Tomb, St. Apollinare Basilica, The Ravenna Music Festival; the Manfredian Faenza with its Ceramics housed in the International Ceramics Museum; and Forlì or Predappio rich in recent Italian history.  The sea is only 16 km far from the “Quattro Passeri”.

The beautiful Cesenatico with its ancient Porto Canale “Vinciano” is the closest sea-town. Also Cervia with its renowned Spa Centre, Mirabilandia Park and the always more fashionable resort of Milano Marittima are only 27 km far.
